Yering Station
We acknowledge that we gather on the unceded lands of the Woi Wurrung people here on beautiful Wurundjeri country, where the mighty Birrarung flows and the Ngurraks sing. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging as we today place footsteps upon footsteps of those made by thousands of generations of Aboriginal people who have come before us. We also pay respect to the non-indigenous brothers and sisters who gather here today, as we are all on the journey of reconciliation. We must acknowledge the past and work together in the present, so that we can move forward as a united nation.

Forty years on, the 400-hectare property now encompasses 26 hectares of vines, an extensive nature reserve, cattle grazing, a kitchen garden and our beautiful cellar door and restaurant. Punt Road Wines
The names Punt Road and Airlie Bank recognise the important role our estate played in the history of grape growing in the Yarra Valley. On Melbourne’s Punt Road, against the bank of the Yarra River, once sat the Airlie Bank vineyard. It was from here in 1860 that Hubert De Castella, a Swiss immigrant and pioneering grape grower, acquired vine cuttings to plant 200 acres of vineyard in Coldstream. The wines produced from those historic vines quickly gained acclaim and recognition in Australia and Europe. This land would later become the home of the original St Hubert’s vineyard and then the Punt Road vineyard and winery.
Giant Step Yarra Valley
Phil found his holy grail near Gruyere in the Sexton vineyard, which he planted in 1997 on the steep slopes of the Warramate Ranges. A mad jazz fan, Phil named the winery after John Coltrane’s album and fitting metaphor “Giant Steps. In 2003, Winemaker Steve Flamsteed came aboard, and the two set about producing a range of iconic Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays that express a profound sense of place from six finite sites in Yarra Valley.
Squitchy Lane Yarra Valley
Nestled in a corner of the Yarra Valley, a stone’s throw from Coldstream Hills and Yarra Yering, was the Log Creek Vineyard. Planted in 1982, the six hectares of mature vines had been established as a grower vineyard, with fruit sold to other producers. Naturally, Mike named the vineyard Squitchy Lane recalling where he had lived in Oxford, where he first began his foray into wine. “We wanted Squitchy Lane to be anything but ‘more of the same’ and I think with our range of Fume Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc—as well as some superb Pinot Noir wines—we have done that; our aim is to be innovative, without going outside the structure we know can work in our micro-climate at Squitchy.”
Sir Paz
The Zapris family arrived in Australia from Greece almost 70 years ago. They left behind not only treasured heirlooms but a strong family tradition of winemaking. At the time, John, the youngest son at age 13, promised his father, Evangelos, that whatever uncertainties awaited them in their new homeland, that one day they would own another vineyard and winemaking would again continue, just as it had in Drimos. Sir Paz Estate was established in the Yarra Valley in 1997. Sadly, it was 5 years after Evangelos had passed away. However, a family tradition had been restored, and a promise, over half a century old, was fulfilled.

The grapes grown must reflect the site, thus each vineyard site must be treated individually. If you look, listen and taste (both grape, vine and soil) the vineyard will tell you its needs and wants. Whether that be some foliage manipulation, fruit thinning or it may be screaming out for a little drink, we will act. Del Rios Winery & Restaurant
Moorabool valley is close to the del Rios' family home in Geelong where I had grown up. My wife and I used to spend all our time riding out here, the region yearns to be discovered and never ceases to offer more. We felt a deep connection to it and that is what winemaking means to us, connecting into this spectacular region and the land we work on. The wine region is home to a few elite wineries and its mediterranean-esque climate is known for the quality and complexity its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir delivers. The soil is derived from a red volcanic rock with an ancient limestone base.
Bellarine Estate
Situated on more than 100-acres between the Drysdale and Portarlington coastline, the Bellarine Estate property is perfectly poised to take advantage of the maritime climate. Bellarine Estate produces wines that are classically cool-climate, smooth and complex. Specialising in Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz, Bellarine Estate has a wine to suit every taste palate – with an award-warding rosé and a fortified Pinot Noir among the distinctive offerings.
Captains Creek Organic Wines
The venue has also been used for conferences, birthdays, Christmas parties, weddings and other functions—and continues to evolve. Since our first vintage in 1998, the beverage list has grown to include sparkling and still, red and white wines, ciders from apples grown on the farm, local handcrafted beers and soft drinks, coffee and tea. Building a “cellar door” commenced in 2005, starting with the restoration of a 100-year-old workers’ hut, then adding a tasting room built with cypress milled on the farm. It features the original fireplace and shingle roof, and displays old wares and photographs from early farming days. It was opened to the public in 2006 with offerings of wine and local cheeses.
Hanging Rock Winery
As Chief Winemaker at Tisdall Winery at the time, John consequently spent many hours on the road between Echuca and the Macedon Ranges, an area now known as the Heathcote Wine Region. With plenty of time to survey the landscape during those trips, John liked what he saw! Each year as the paddocks were ploughed, he could see the rusty red, clay loam soil, which we now know to be Cambrian soil – some of the oldest soil in the world.
Mount Towrong Vineyard
Mount Towrong Vineyard is a small, family-owned winery, 600m above sea level in the heart of the Macedon Ranges (just 1 hour from Melbourne CBD). Established in 1996 by the Cremasco family, our vineyard reflects a deep connection to our Italian roots and the cool-climate region we call home. The land we farm is Wurundjeri country, and we honour this through our vineyard practices and branding. Our logo is inspired by the surrounding landscape, featuring Geboor (Mount Macedon), Mount Towrong, and Willimigongon Creek. Each vintage, we continue the work of those who came before us, crafting wines that tell a story of time, place, and the hands that made them.

Gisborne Peak Winery & Cottages
It all started In 1986 Mr. Bob Nixon had a vision that grapes would ripen on the Eastern slopes of Mt. Gisborne. Turns out he was right. It started out with just a few vines to see how they would go. It then developed as a love and passion and a wonderful lifestyle. Both Bob and Barbara were active in the wine tourism industry enjoyed inviting people to share their love of wine and wine education. What you see is what you got with Bob and Barbara, no attitude, authentic, genuine and honest, they aimed to pass these qualities onto all staff who have come through the doors and hope their legacy will now continue.
Blue Gables Vineyard
Alistair Hicks and his wife Catherine were looking for a lifestyle change. They planted 7 acres under vine after subdividing land from the dairy farm owned by Catherine's father in 2004. Situated high on a hill, Blue Gables Vineyard is an exposed site that is warmer than most in Gippsland by day, yet with the absence of any sea breeze, the nights cool off significantly. These day/night temperature extremities are perfect for viticulture and this unique microclimate has resulted in the wines displaying intense varietal flavour and elegance. The now established boutique vineyard has 2 acres of Shiraz, 2 acres of Pinot Gris, 2 acres of Sauvignon Blanc and 1 acre of Chardonnay. The vineyard has also expanded with plantings of Sangiovese and Pinot Noir in the spring of 2017. Our first vintage was 2009, with wines initially made by Mal Stewart, who continues to make our sparkling wines. Our current winemaker Alastair Butt has set a high benchmark for us with his first few vintages, commencing 2015. Blue Gables was awarded a 5 Star James Halliday Winery rating in 2019 and continues to deliver premium quality award-winning wines.
Narkoojee Winery and Restaurant
Narkoojee had humble beginnings, with the cellar door operating out of a small weatherboard bungalow at the back of Harry and Val’s house. The grapes were taken to the old butter factory in Glengarry, which served as their first winery. Today, there are 15 hectares of vines on site, and what was once a humble dairy farm is now a thriving winery with 5 Red Star status as rated by James Halliday and critical acclaim from wine writers and consumers around the globe.

Cannibal Creek Vineyard
Local produce is at the heart of Cannibal Creek Vineyard, as it is for most of the Gippsland region. We are lucky enough to have access to quality produce. Not only is the quality of these products amazing, but buying local and maintaining a strong relationship with local suppliers ensures that the region continues to grow and thrive. This has proved to be even more important considering recent events. Both the fires in 2019 and COVID pandemic have resulted in hospitality taking a hit. Gippsland is home to one of the largest growth corridors in Victoria, with the population growing year by year. This, in addition to increased exposure means that there is a higher demand for quality, local produce.
Purple Hen Winery
We are located on a small peninsula on Phillip Island, overlooking the Bay of Western Port with beautiful views of Swan Inlet, Churchill Island and Denne Bight. Purple Hen began in 2001 when Rick Lacey and Maira Vitols purchased the property - 32 hectares of prime grazing land. Planting of vines began in January 2002 with the first vintage in 2004. An on-site winery was established in 2005 and the Cellar Door opened at Easter 2006. In the ensuing years we have expanded the vineyard to its current 11 hecatres and established an enviable record for producing elegant and strongly varietal wines – winning over 150 Medals and 30 Trophies at wine shows in Australia. Phillip Island is best known for its tourist attractions such as the penguins, seals and koalas. We hope it will become increasingly recognised for possessing one of the best climates in Australia for the growing of quality wines.

Tahbilk Estate Cellar Door
The story of Tahbilk begins with the land and the river. Situated within the traditional lands of the Taungurung people, tabilk-tabilk means ‘place of many waterholes’, a name which aptly describes the abundance of the landscape. This is the place we call home. The intricate internal billabong systems create a unique meso-climate and provides a home for an array of plant and animal life, supporting near perfect growing conditions in our vineyards. Our unique environment is at the heart of our ability to craft wines of exceptional quality which truly represent the earth in which they grow.
Mount Langi Ghiran
The Fratin brothers: Don, Lino and Serge, an Italian immigrant family had a dream of creating a little piece of Veneto here in Australia. In planting their first vines, they created the iconic “Langi” Old Block Shiraz. The brothers continued planting vines adding Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Not satisfied with just grapes, they planted chestnuts, walnuts, hazelnuts and some fruit trees. The cellar they built into the side of the hill was a feast for the senses, the rafters sagging with salami and other small goods while stillage racks held the new vintage in barrels.
